Happy Birthday Little Jillian!

I can't believe my little baby girl is 4 years old today.

In some ways I feel like I've had her forever and in others it feels like just yesterday. She's moved with me from single days to married days and it hasn't phased her one bit! She is my side kick, ear wax cleaner and cuddle bunny (since I have a husband who doesn't cuddle but I think it works out just fine). I know some folks don't understand the love for a pet but when you have a little pup that has seen you at your best and worst and is still the happiest when you walk through the door maybe you'll understand. That little face in the morning helps me get out of bed and face the day. Happy Birthday Jillian Rose - I hope you have many more!

Memorial Day

So for the holiday weekend Todd, my parents and I decided to go to Atlanta for the day. I have gone to the aquarium a couple of years ago but my companions had never been. The plan was to visit the aquarium in the morning then on to World of Coke for the afternoon. However, once we left the jam packed aquarium we decided the line outside of World of Coke was too many folks for us and decided to head back to Montgomery. I was tired of everybody and there mama running into me like they were the only ones packed into a tube to look at some fish! Here are a few shots from our camera, I'll post more once I get the pictures from my mom's camera.

Post-wedding photo shoot

As some of you are probably aware, I wasn't completely happy with the pictures that my wedding photographer took of just Todd and I. Well I have a friend who now lives in Birmingham and has been taking pictures of her adorable daughter and posting them to her blog. This gave me an idea, since Todd bought his suit for the wedding and I obviously still have my dress - why not have a redo! Here are some of the first pictures I've gotten and I couldn't be happier with the result and I haven't even seen them all. The new picture at the top was also taken that day,

Allergies are for the Dogs!

So our little Jillian has been having the worst time with allergies this year. In the past she has been known to scratch her chest raw or chew on a foot for a bit but this year is an all out scratch/chew/bite fest! She starting getting worse over the past couple of days and Todd and I both have tried to scratch for her or rub her hind quarters which seem to be giving her the most trouble. I just can't take it anymore and I know she is ready for it to be over. My mom gave me some topical ointment that seems to help but Jill proceeds to sit and pout ofter I apply. We even have pills from the vet but she is not the best pill taker. Last night I put a pill in her mouth and she literally fell asleep with her head in my hand because she didn't want to swallow. So today I went out to PetSmart and got her some anti itch shampoo and soothing clothes that are suppose to help soothe her skin but also put a bitter taste on her skin so she won't bite. Wish me luck with the bath!

Happy Birthday Uncle Chod

So my lovely husband Todd will turn 29 on Saturday, yes I married a young'in. We celebrated with his new in-laws last weekend. Scarlett cooked a massive Mexican dinner and we enjoyed a yummy cookie cake. In case your wondering, "Chod" came from our nephew Zack (the smallest one in the pictures) who at 2 years old can't quite say Todd so it comes out Chod. He's getting better but I thought it only fitting that Todd's first birthday as an offical uncle for the Glenn kids mark his "Uncle Chod" status. The same little Zack calls me Cheeto, but I'll leave that one for another post.

We will be celebrating Todd's offical birthday this weekend with a trip to the Rick and Bubba show Friday morning then on to Pell City. I'll have pictures of that birthday posted next week,

Snow Day!

It was COLD!

Well we had snow in Prattville on Sunday! It was so much fun, we made a Sumo Snowman, Snow Cream and I even tried my hand at a snow angel. Jill even had a good time,
